DPRK FM Receives Message from Her Russian Counterpart
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Sergey Lavrov, foreign minister of the Russian Federation, on August 14 on the occasion of the National Liberation Day.
The message said that the service personnel of the Red Army of the Soviet Union and patriots of Korea defeated Japanese militarism in 1945 and liberated the Korean people from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule spanning many years, hastening the end of the Second World War.
The participation of service personnel of the Korean People's Army in the operations to drive the Ukrainian Nazi clique and foreign mercenaries out of Kursk is a clear proof of the tradition of the militant friendship forged by the heroic preceding generations, the message said.
