Many Units Win Quality Products Authentication

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Various economic sectors and units in the DPRK are intensifying the drive for socialist emulation for modernizing production processes and improving the quality of products.

According to data available, more than 200 units in the light industry, public health and other fields won the control system authentication, food safety management system authentication, GMP authentication, products authentication and February 2 Goods Certification in the third quarter of the year.

The sprayers production process at the Kangso Sprayer Factory, the calcium nitrate production process at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, the plastic bottles production process at the Pyongyang Foodstuff Packing Materials Factory and the wood products production process at the Kanggye Wood Processing Factory received the control system authentication.

A food safety management system authentication was conferred on various production lines at the Taesongsan Foodstuff Processing Station and the Rason General Foodstuff Factory.

The Sinuiju Pharmaceutical Factory, the Pothonggang Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory and other units promoted the work to put the production processes on a sterilized and dust-free basis. In the course, the lines for producing capsules, liquid medicines and injections won GMP authentication.

Products, developed by the Pyongyang Musical Instrument Factory, the Pyongyang Jonghyang Building Materials Factory, the Pyongyang Bag Factory and the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory, were registered as February 2 Goods. -0-
