New Water Purification Technology Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, scientists at the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences have developed new water purification technology.

This highly profitable technology is popular as it can be effectively applied to the production of domestic water and sewage treatment.

It is based on a biological purification way by micro eco-medicine for water purification, which consists of various harmless microorganisms.

The medicine's speed of removing harmful organisms is several times faster than microorganisms living in the natural environment. Its purification effect lasts for more than 6-12 months, and it can be used even in winter.

The scientists proved its economic effectiveness and advantage by introducing it into water parks, water purification plants, sewage treatment plants, zoos, riding clubs, etc. -0-
