Rural Housing Construction Brisk in Kangwon Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Kangwon Province of the DPRK is pushing ahead with the rural housing construction.

Munchon City, Kosong County and other cities and counties have stepped up the construction of dwelling houses while consolidating the material and technical foundations for rural construction.

They have enhanced the role of skilled workers and improved the level of specialization of construction to ensure the quality of structures.

They are carrying on the foundation work for dwelling houses in a qualitative way while introducing rational working methods for saving materials.

They have built up their construction brigades as the main force of rural construction and raised the actual working rate of construction equipment to speed up the foundation excavation and ground concrete tamping.

They have fulfilled their tasks every day by ensuring proper process-by-process engagement.

The province also directs big efforts to constructing public and production buildings at farms suited to their regional characteristics. -0-
