Work for Independent Development Hastened in South hamgyong Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- South Hamgyong Province is intensifying the work for independent development of the region, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The province is directing efforts to expanding the capacity and improving the quality of tile by reinforcing the production process at the Songchongang Tile Factory and increasing the output of cement and enhancing the quality by stepping up the renovation of the Puraesan Cement Factory.

Several projects are under way to spruce up Ragwon County. The Ragwonpho Greenhouse Branch Farm is showing its appearance and the construction of a small-storeyed apartment in the township area of Ragwon County and the reconstruction of the Ragwon Fishery Station are also being stepped up.

The province has built an automated pitch mixture production line based on coal to open up a prospect for paving the roads in cities and counties, to say nothing of those in provincial seat.

It made successes in remodeling the outer walls of the apartment houses in the seats of Hamhung City and Ragwon and Riwon counties by building a plastic windows production base. On this basis, it has urged the cities and counties to remodel the outer walls of the apartment houses in the seats and directed efforts to building 1 000-odd flats and service network at the Komdok area. -0-
