Dairy Products Vans for Children in DPRK
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- Five years have passed since the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was convened in June 2021 to discuss and decide as the most important policy an issue of improving the conditions for upbringing the children, the future of the country.
According to data available, hundreds of thousands of tons of dairy products have been supplied to children across the country over the past five years.
At present, the nationwide supply of dairy products amounts to a hundred and tens of tons per day.
Dozens of vans are transporting dairy products along the streets of the capital city, conveying the benevolence of the Party to posterity.
One van runs an average of 32 kilometers a day and it means that all the vans run over 280 000 kilometers a year. This is equivalent to traveling the distance round the earth 7 times.
The provinces, cities and counties across the country are also putting the operation of similar vans on a normal footing.
In Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province, vans run hundreds of kilometers every day to supply dairy products to children in the city.
And a van runs nearly 40 kilometers per day in Sinpho City, South Hamgyong Province to supply dairy products to its children.
In particular, a van carrying dairy products is running for only a few children in Uam-dong, Sonbong District of Rason City.
This reality fully proves the loving care of our Party, which puts forward the children as the king of the country and spares nothing for them.
Still now, the Party's love for our children permeates every part of the country. -0-
