Members of Diplomatic Corps Here Visit Jonsung Revolutionary Site

Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Members of the diplomatic corps here visited the Jonsung Revolutionary Site on Thursday on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Being briefed on the fact that President Kim Il Sung, invincible and iron-willed commander, performed immortal exploits before the times and history by leading the war to the victory, they looked round various places of the site.

At the end of the visit, the guests made entries in the visitor's book.

Lao Ambassador Keo Mackhaphon wrote that he deeply felt once again that the fundamental key to defeating the imperialist allied forces lies in the gifted military idea, extraordinary strategy and tactics and outstanding leadership of the great Comrade Kim Il Sung. I am convinced that the Korean people will achieve greater victory in defending socialism and developing the country under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. The history of the DPRK's victory will be given eternal continuity generation after generation, he added.

Chinese Ambassador Wang Yajun wrote that it is necessary to carry forward the friendship forged at the cost of blood, steadily consolidate and develop the China-DPRK friendly relations, defend peace and promote the people's well-being by joint effort.
