Regional-Industry Factories Bring out Many Kinds of Products

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- New regional-industry factories across the DPRK are now bringing out many new kinds of products, as compared with the early period of their operation, contributing to the improvement of the living standard of regional citizens, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The varieties of foodstuff have increased by 2 times, clothing by 12 times and daily necessities by 6 times on average at the city and county foodstuff, garment and daily necessities factories across the country.

The Jaeryong County Foodstuff Factory, which produced 60 kinds of products at the time of its inauguration, is now producing 130 kinds of tasty and nutritious foodstuff.

The Sukchon County Garment Factory is bringing out over 100 kinds of clothing by directing efforts to new product development.

The Hamju County Daily Necessities Factory has increased the varieties of products to contribute to the development of the county and the improvement of the living standard of inhabitants.

The regional-industry factories, built in the second year of the regional-industry revolution, have proactively introduced the successes and experience gained by the factories built in the first year to accelerate the development of new products. -0-
