Students in DPRK Tour Revolutionary Battle Site
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Senior middle school students in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK made a study tour of the Jongbangsan Revolutionary Battle Site on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The site is associated with the feats of small unit members of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army who inspired many people to the all-people resistance, true to the great leader Generalissimo
The visitors recalled the patriotic feats of the Generalissimo, who organized and led the unprecedentedly arduous anti-Japanese war to brilliant victory, holding aloft the banner of self-reliant independence.
Being told about the small unit members' activities for rallying people under the banner of the anti-Japanese struggle, the students cherished as a precious ideological and moral asset the moral world of the fighters who carried out the operational plan of the Generalissimo thoroughly.
They had a meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array, displaying the high spirit and strong will of the younger generation to steadfastly carry forward the baton of loyalty and patriotism under the flag of the Korean Children's Union by inheriting the proud traditions of the Children's Corps during the anti-Japanese struggle. -0-
