Onpho Working People's Holiday Camp in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- People's laughter and song of happiness are heard at the Onpho Working People's Holiday Camp built as a monumental edifice representing the hot spring culture of the DPRK.

A great number of labor innovators and persons of merits including workers and technicians of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Sunchon Cement Complex, the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex and high-yielding farmers in South Hwanghae Province spent a pleasant time at the holiday camp after its opening in February.

The outdoor and indoor hot spring resorts were crowded with rest-home visitors.

They experienced the new level of flourishing Korea-style hot spring culture, taking a spa bath in multi-purpose hot spring tanks of various forms.

Guided by the kind-hearted service workers, they had hot water or shower bathes and received various kinds of medical care in the hot spring treatment room equipped with modern medical facilities. -0-
