Schoolchildren's Brass Band Concert
Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A schoolchildren's brass band concert "Red necktie flying under the Party flag" was given in the courtyard of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on Oct. 8 to mark the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Among the audience were Paek Un Chol, chairman of the C.C., Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
The concert began with the prelude "It Is October" and "Mother's Birthday".
The performers showed with dynamic melodies the unshakable faith and will of the new generation to invariably follow the road of loyalty and patriotism, true to the spiritual world of the members of the Children's Corps during the anti-Japanese war and the members of the Children's Guard during the Fatherland Liberation War.
The spirited and bold looks of schoolchildren, who are growing up to be knowledgeable, virtuous and healthy pillars of the country under the care of the motherly Party, bringing their hopes and talents into full bloom with nothing more to desire in the world, were well represented in various numbers.
The concert ended with the epilogue "Red necktie flying under the Party flag" and "Ready always for the socialist motherland". -0-
