Chinese Ambassador Hosts Reception to Mark 105th Anniversary of CPC

Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception at his embassy on June 30 to mark the 105th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China.

Present there on invitation were Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Song Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps here.

Members of the Chinese embassy, Chinese guests staying in the DPRK and Chinese residents were on hand.

Wang Yajun made a speech at the reception.

He referred to the fact that the Communist Party of China united and led the people after its founding, built new China where the people became the masters, provided fundamental conditions for the great prosperity of the Chinese nation and made contributions to the development and progress of mankind.

He expressed the belief that the Workers' Party of Korea would grow stronger and achieve fresh and bigger successes in accomplishing the socialist cause of the DPRK under the wise leadership of Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who advanced the five-point Party-building line in the new era and ushered in the great heyday of strengthening the whole Party by inheriting and developing the Party-building ideas of Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il.

To share destiny, help and defend each other and sincerely unite generation after generation is the main trend of China-DPRK friendship and exchange and the relations between the two parties have played a leading role in the development of the relations between the two countries, he said, adding: In the new era, Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping and Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un had seven historic meetings and maintained close strategic communication to constantly add a new chapter to the friendship between the two parties and the two countries.

The ambassador expressed the CPC's readiness to thoroughly implement the important joint understanding of the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries for strengthening strategic communication, deepening the exchange of experience in the party and state management and leading the China-DPRK relations to the sound and stable development and thus provide the two peoples with better happiness and jointly defend the regional peace and development.

Next, Kim Song Nam made a speech.

Giving warm congratulations to the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, he noted that the CPC has achieved remarkable successes in further strengthening its leadership role, realizing the qualitative development of the economy and social stability and consolidating the external position of the country.

All the achievements made in China today are unthinkable apart from the correct leadership of the CPC and the socialist system chosen and built by the Chinese people, he said, adding: Recorded in the history of the CPC is a history of DPRK-China friendship in which the two parties and the two countries have struggled and won victory together for the common cause.

The DPRK-China friendship has been developed into a new height on the basis of the close relationship between the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un and the esteemed Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping, he said, adding that the top leaders of the two parties expressed their steadfast will to develop the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries into the most powerful and strategic model relations between the socialist states during the historic Pyongyang meeting this year.

He wished the Chinese people greater victory in the struggle to build a modern and powerful socialist country and accomplish the cause of prosperity of the Chinese nation, rallied close around the Party Central Committee with Comrade General Secretary Xi Jinping as its core.

The participants in the reception toasted the good health of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the esteemed Comrade Xi Jinping.

The reception proceeded in an atmosphere full of comradeship and friendship.

Earlier, there took place round-table talks for exchanging the experience in the DPRK-China party-building at the embassy to mark the 105th founding anniversary of the CPC.

Introduced at the round-table talks were the excellent party-building experience of the WPK, which regards the people-first principle as its political ideal and mode and achieves the comprehensive development of socialism under the absolute trust and support of the people, and the CPC, which brings about changes by rallying the people, aware of its original intention and mission.
