Celebrations Held in Different Countries

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Meetings, seminars and book and photo exhibitions took place in Nepal, Cambodia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Egypt from August 6 to 14 on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of political and social circles and masses of those countries.

The chairperson and members of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Juche praised President Kim Il Sung as an ever-victorious brilliant commander who defeated the Japanese imperialists armed to the teeth with his superb strategy and tactics, saying that August 15, 1945 is the day of Korea's liberation.

The chairman of the Left National Party of Romania, the vice-chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania and personages of the Romanian Association of Friends of the DPRK in Romania said that thanks to President Kim Il Sung the Korean people could get rid of the destiny of colonial slavery and embark on the road of creating a new life.

A reporter and speakers including the secretary general of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism praised President Kim Il Sung as a great revolutionary, anti-Japanese legendary hero and peerless patriot as he devoted his all to the freedom and liberation of the people.

The chairman of the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK, which was the target of imperialist aggression and plunder a century ago, is now fully demonstrating its might as the most dignified and powerful socialist state in the world as it was led by Comrade Kim Jong Un, another great man.

The vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and members of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association said that the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed for national liberation are shining along with the glorious course of the DPRK which has emerged as a world power under the guidance of respected HE Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory message to respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in Bulgaria. -0-
