100th Founding Anniversary of DIU Observed by Press
Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK Saturday dedicate editorials to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.
Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the formation of the DIU is of profound significance as it provided the origin of the Korean revolution and a foundation for the Party building.
It goes on:
On October 17, 1926, the great leader Comrade
In the face of manifold difficulties and obstacles, the worst ever, in each period and at each stage, all the generations of our revolution have held aloft the red flag one generation after another and remained boundlessly faithful to its intention and cause.
The Workers' Party of Korea has firmly maintained its independent stand, not yielding to outsiders' wanton interference and pressure, and pushed ahead with everything at will, true to its ideal and intention.
The new era, led by the great Comrade
Thanks to the great Comrade
This dynamic era, in which the prestige of Juche Korea has been significantly enhanced and the advance of our state toward a future of high civilization and prosperity accelerated, is the fruit of the rare wisdom, strenuous execution and devoted efforts of the great Comrade
The DPRK is great today, but its tomorrow will be rosier, thanks to the great Comrade
Minju Joson says only victory and glory are in store for the country and people as they are adding luster to the tradition of the DIU generation after generation. -0-
