Youths in DPRK Commemorate Anniversary of Demise of President Kim Il Sung

Present there were Paek Un Chol, chairman of the C.C., Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.
The meeting heard the recitation of a narrative poem "Great Torrent of Yearning" reflecting the deep yearning for the President who had always attached importance to the youth work and made painstaking efforts to train the younger generation into successors to the revolution and pillars of the country in the whole period of his revolutionary leadership.
Recalling the glorious days when they attended the Eighth Congress of the League of Socialist Working Youth of Korea, performers said that they could never forget the benevolent image of the President who personally attended the congress and had a photo taken with the youth delegates.
They noted with deep emotion that the President personally wrote and sent letters "Kim Chaek University of Technology" for a tablet of the university and made devoted and painstaking efforts to provide more modern educational conditions till the last moments of his great life.
