Education for Students Intensified in Pyongyang Municipality

Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The university youth league organizations in Pyongyang Municipality are conducting education in various forms and ways to prepare the students to be vanguard fighters with a staunch spirit of defending the country and a clear outlook on the arch enemy.

The organizations, through the reading of articles in the paper of the Workers' Party of Korea and other publications, inform the students of the feats performed by the victorious wartime generation and their patriotism, while helping the students take the lead in the patriotic movement conducive to bolstering up the country's defence capabilities.

They are also organizing visits to the Central Class Education House and the Sinchon Class Education House and meetings for pledging revenge on the U.S. imperialists and the class enemy and meetings with war veterans.

While organizing a meeting with a witness to brutal atrocities committed by the enemy during the Fatherland Liberation War, they are guiding the students' mobile motivation teams giving performances on the theme of class education to amplify the influence of ideological education.

Frequent poem-reciting and oratorical meetings on patriotism and class education contribute to the education of students. -0-
