Successes Made in Production of Custom-built Equipment

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- The machine-building industry sector of the DPRK is increasing production through a dynamic technological innovation movement.

The Ryongsong Machine Complex introduced technical innovation proposals for lowering the standard of material consumption per unit to shorten the period of casting production, manufactured and installed jigs and equipment and strengthened cooperation among processes, thus qualitatively processing and assembling various parts.

The Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 is purposefully conducting the upgrading of the performance of equipment, regarding it as an important link for improving the quality of products, and thus increasing the production of various kinds of electric wires.

The Anju Pumping Factory and the Pyongyang Bearing Factory are reducing the cost, ensuring smooth operation of the whole process and updating the economic and technical indices of products by introducing inventions conducive to improving the utilization rate of materials and quality of products.

The workers of the Songchongang Electrical Appliances Factory, the Anju Insulating Material Factory and the Hamhung Youth Electric Appliances Plant are keeping the equipment in full-capacity operation to boost production. -0-
