New Barbecue Restaurant Inaugurated in Kaesong Municipality of DPRK

Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- A barbecue restaurant has appeared in Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK.

The modern restaurant with hundreds of seats was flawlessly built at the foot of scenic Mt Janam, adding to the peculiarities of the city of historical culture, thus providing another public service center for serving various kinds of barbecues, cold noodles and soft drinks to citizens.

A ceremony took place on October 4 to inaugurate the restaurant.

Present there were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and working people in the municipality, builders and employees of the restaurant.

Choe Kyong Nam, chairman of the municipal people's committee, addressed the ceremony, to be followed by a speech.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the restaurant.

That day the restaurant provided its first service to war veterans, honoured disabled ex-soldiers, labour innovators and other citizens of Kaesong. -0-
