National Exhibition of Processed Marine Products-2026 Opens in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- The national exhibition of processed marine products-2026 opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Underground Shop on Nov. 3 under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Fisheries.

Presented to the exhibition on the theme of "Sea fragrance" are more than 200 kinds of products, made by over 60 units including the Sinpho City Offshore Farm, the Ragwon County Offshore Farm and the Kalma Foodstuff Factory, and dozens of scientific research findings and technical experience data.

The exhibition is full of diverse products made by the Suchaebong Fishery Station of Rason Municipality, the Hanchon Fishery Station, the Songdowon Fishery Station, the Wonsan Seafood Shop, the Sinpho City Seafood Processing Station, etc.

The Yomju County Seafood Processing Factory and the Orang County Seafood Processing Factory presented processed goods symbolic and representative of their units.

Present at the opening ceremony were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, officials concerned and officials and working people of the exhibitor units.

Yun Song Chol, minister of Fisheries, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the exhibition venue. -0-
