Economic Plans Fulfilled at Coal Mines of S. Phyongan Province

Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- More than 60 youth shock brigades in South Phyongan Province of the DPRK fulfilled their two-year and yearly national economic plans.

The Kil Yong Jo Youth Shock Brigade of the Kaechon Coal Mine set a goal to fulfill its two-year economic plan ahead of schedule until the founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and launched a collective innovation movement, thus fulfilling the plan earlier than others.

The Ri Su Bok Youth Shock Brigade of the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine, the Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade of the Namdok Youth Coal Mine, the Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade of the Tukjang Youth Coal Mine and the Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Ryongnim Coal Mine celebrated the Party founding anniversary in October with the pride of having fulfilled their two-year tunneling plans.

The youth shock brigade members of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex, too, are gaining high results every day after implementing their yearly economic plan ahead of schedule.

Dozens of coal-mining youth shock brigades under the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex have increased the tunneling speed since the beginning of the year, thus contributing to securing new coalfields.

The Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Namyang Coal Mine has carried out its daily plan at over 120 percent by applying new methods to further increase the number of tunneling places and expand the muck-removing capacity. -0-
