N. Hwanghae Province of DPRK Promotes Construction of New Power Base

Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK is building a large-capacity ultra-anthracite thermal power plant and a solar power station.

The province chose the sites for the new power stations, designed them, assigned the undertakings and formed the building workforce.

The project to build a road extending more than a thousand meters on a hillock near the thermal power plant is nearing completion. And the project for removing thousands of cubic meters of earth and installing solar panels is progressing apace.

The province takes other practical measures for operating the power stations including establishment of a stable and efficient system of power production and supply. -0-
