Passing-on-Technique Meeting for Raising Livestock Held in N. Hamgyong Province

Pyongyang, October 14 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, a passing-on-technique meeting for raising livestock with non-grain feed was given at the Township Farm of Hwadae County, North Hamgyong Province.

Present there were officials and technicians in the field of animal husbandry in the province.

There was a speech on experience of the manager of the farm which established the food production cycle of agricultural production and animal husbandry at a high level, using non-grain feed available in the area.

At the end of the speech there were a lecture on methods of producing fermented rice chaff and animal protein feed and a demonstration of the fermented rice chaff production ground, protein feed production ground, fattening sub-workteam of the workteam No. 2 and poultry house.

The participants went round the cattle shed and feed processing base and exchanged the experience and technical problems of the farm which solved the feed problem, the main problem in animal husbandry.

The passing-on-technique meeting called upon all the participants to help city, county, farms, workteams, sub-workteams and farmers theoretically understand the methods proved through the speech on experience and demonstration and provide a guarantee for increased livestock production by dint of science in any region and unit. -0-
