Founding Anniversary of DPRK Marked Abroad

Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, there took place a joint celebration meeting of progressive political parties and social organizations, book and photo exhibition and art performance in Romania, celebration meetings in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Finland and seminars on the exploits of the peerlessly great men in India, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Britain and DR Congo.

Speeches were made at the events attended by figures of political and social circles and masses in relevant countries.

At the joint celebration meeting held in Romania, speakers praised the nation-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung, the founder of the DPRK and socialist Korea.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, chairman of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship Association and the international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League said that under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the DPRK has covered only the path of victory and glory shining with independence and the sacred history of the DPRK spanning tens of years proves that if a country is led by an outstanding leader, though it is not big, it can be a great country.

The chairman of the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India, chairman of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK and personages of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo stressed that the reality of the DPRK which is demonstrating before the world its dignity and might as a world power is unthinkable apart from the exploits of President Kim Il Sung.

The chairman of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, chief of the Organization of Women of the Juche Idea in Karachi of Pakistan and the chief of the Organization of Youth and Students of the Juche Idea in Karachi of Pakistan affirmed that the DPRK people would certainly build a socialist power, the ideal society of mankind, thanks to the energetic leadership of respected HE Kim Jong Un.

Congratulatory messages to respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and Britain.

On the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK, there took place an internet seminar of the organizations for the study of the Juche Idea in the Latin-American region which was attended by followers of the Juche Idea in Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Costa Rica, Columbia and Peru. -0-
