Successes at Musan Mining Complex

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Musan Mining Complex in the DPRK is increasing the iron ore production more than 1.2 times as compared with the same period of last year.

The open branch mine is concentrating rotary drills and excavators in places with favorable production conditions and increasing the amount of iron ore production.

The earth-scarping conveyor station is increasing the operation rate of large cone crushers, and the Ore Dressing Workshop No. 2 is removing thousands of tons of run-of-mine ore on a daily average by solving technical problems arising in the operation of equipment.

While making preparations for one million-cubic-metre blasting, the tunneling units of the complex are increasing the tunneling speed through the large-scale blasting.

The repair and maintenance branch factory is producing and supplying various kinds of accessories and parts necessary for repairing equipment, thus contributing to the implementation of the plan. -0-
