DPRK Youth under Benevolent Care of Respected Fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The youth in the DPRK are celebrating their significant Youth Day (August 28).

All the people across the country extend warm congratulations to the young people adding glory to their honour in the worksites for the comprehensive national rejuvenation under socialism, writing a new heroic biography in the course of the development of the Korean youth movement.

For the past decade, the young people have made signal achievements in building monumental edifices in different parts of the country, including the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station, Jonwi Street in Pyongyang and the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.

Respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un led the young people to demonstrate their might as the advancing group and vanguard unit in the struggle for carrying out the far-reaching plan of the Workers' Party of Korea.

He repeatedly visited the construction site of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station through rugged mountainous roads to train the young people to be creators of legendary tales about heroic youth with his warm love and trust. His energetic guidance is always remembered by the Korean people.

He set forth the task to build a new street in the Sopho area, in addition to the construction of 10,000 flats in Pyongyang in 2023, at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. He entrusted this huge project to the young vanguard and came to the venue for the groundbreaking ceremony in February 2023 to encourage them with his stirring speech.

In May 2024, he attended the inauguration ceremony of the Jonwi Street, wonderfully built as a grand monument to the youth. He met young innovators and highly praised them, saying that the members of the youth shock brigade involved in construction are all innovators.

He also attended the ceremony of seeing off the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade leaving for the flood-hit areas of North Phyongan Province in August that year to encourage the young people. At the beginning of this year he visited the construction site of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm to congratulate the young vanguard and soldier-builders on the New Year and highly praised them for turning the island area into an ideal farm town symbolic of the new era.

Indeed, the benevolent care of the respected fatherly Marshal serves as lifeblood that enables the young people to become creators of legendary tales about heroic youth and the vanguard unit remaining boundlessly loyal to the Party. -0-
