Yut-game

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- There is yut-game among Korean folk games.

Yut-game is based on the principles of natural and social phenomena.

The points made by throwing the yut sticks reflect the size and speed of pig, dog, sheep, cow and horse.

The yut board is based on the then Korean people's outlook on the universe.

The four yut sticks mean north, south, east and west. A stick has two colors. White means day and black means night.

Still now, Yut-game is popular among families of the DPRK on holidays.

Yut-game was registered as a national intangible cultural heritage in November, 2015. -0-
