Nampho Municipality Reinforces Material and Technical Foundations of Education

Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The enthusiasm for aiding the educational sector is growing in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK.

In October, a month of aiding schools, the municipality and its districts and counties organized educational aid exhibitions and sent more than 20 000 pieces of educational equipment and teaching tools of over 170 kinds to universities, schools and kindergartens.

The Taean Heavy Machine Complex, Nampho Port and the municipal communication management bureau sincerely prepared various kinds of laboratory and practical equipment and teaching tools conducive to improving the intellectual and practical ability of students.

Officials of Taean and Chollima districts donated computers, smart TVs and solar panels with an aim to eliminate regional differences in education and put education on a modern and IT basis.

The construction of Hwado and Haksong technical senior middle schools was completed in a short span of time in Waudo and Kangso districts.

Hanggu District and Onchon County remodeled the Undok Kindergarten and Haeun Primary School by giving precedence to the supply of such building materials as cement and steel. -0-
