Exhibition of Consumer Goods Held

Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of consumer goods was held in Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK from Sept. 7 to 13.

Presented to it were tens of thousands of products in over 560 kinds produced by 90-odd units in the municipality, including light industrial factories in Jangphung County and Kaephung District, the Kaesong Condiments Factory and the Songdo Foodstuff Factory.

During the exhibition, successes and experience of the consumer goods production units were shared and exchanged. The exhibition redoubled the enthusiasm of officials and working people in the city light industry sector to make progress in diversifying products and improving quality indices.

Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other officials in the municipality went round the exhibition hall and took practical measures to produce more quality consumer goods by using raw materials in the region. -0-
