Youths in N. Hamgyong Province Volunteer to Work at Socialist Construction Theaters

Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Young people in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK have volunteered to work in difficult sectors for socialist construction.

Those in Hwadae and Kyongsong counties vowed to work at raw material base stations.

Those in Chongjin City, Onsong and Orang counties requested their youth league organizations to send them to the regional construction brigades.

Those in Kilju and Musan counties, too, volunteered to work in rural areas.

A meeting was held on November 1 to congratulate the volunteers.

Present there were officials concerned, youth league officials and youth and students. The volunteers were awarded certificates. A congratulatory address and speeches were made.

Officials and young people warmly saw off the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them. -0-
