DPRK Premier Inspects Chonsong Youth Coal Mine
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, gave a field survey of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine under the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex.
At coal pits, the premier encouraged coal miners out in a drive for increased production to carry out the new Five-Year Plan and oversaw the test operation of highly efficient mining equipment made by our scientists, technicians and workers.
He called upon the officials to set up a more advanced, detailed and practical plan for carrying into practice without slightest faults the noble intention of the Party Central Committee to build the coal mine into a standard one, where the mechanization and information of work inside its pits are realized, as the start of the long-term project to transform the material and technical foundation of all the coal mines across the country and the working conditions of coal miners.
He stressed the need for the officials and workers of the coal mine to make the flames of collective innovations, following the example of the So Un Chol-led Coal-cutting Company which produced nearly 10 000 more tons of coal in the first half of the year, and thus repay the great love and trust of the Party with higher successes in coal production.
Meanwhile, he visited the fifth-stage construction site in the Hwasong area to learn in detail about the construction project and called for thoroughly ensuring the quality of structures, stepping up the project as scheduled and taking thorough measures to prevent damage in the rainy season.
The field consultative meetings discussed the issue for the machine-building industrial sector to produce coal-mining equipment in a qualitative way and the issue of preferentially supplying materials for the fifth-stage construction in the Hwasong area, and took relevant measures. -0-
