Korean Bow-Intangible Cultural Heritage of DPRK
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- From olden times the Korean people have expressed their courtesy by bowing to each other.
Korean bow is a form of greeting in which people bend their heads or bodies forward for showing each other respect or etiquette in case of meeting or leaving.
Korean bow can be divided into two, a sitting bow and a standing bow.
It reflects the personality and feelings of the Korean people who are modest, strong, gentle and kind.
Korean bow was registered as a national intangible cultural heritage in November 2021. -0-
