Regional-industry Factories in Kaesong Boosts Production

Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Regional-industry factories in Jangphung County and Kaephung District, Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK, are waging a brisk emulation to produce more quality goods with regional characteristics.

The foodstuff factory in Jangphung County has produced various kinds of products including bean paste, biscuits and candies with toothache tree seeds, jujubes and peanuts as raw materials. The daily necessities factory in the county has turned out liquid soap and detergent popular among the residents in the county.

The foodstuff factory in Kaephung District updated the wheat milling technology to improve the quality of wheat paste, biscuits and other products and pushed ahead with installing the maize embryo separator at the final stage.
