Education in Patriotism Intensified in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Youth league organizations at universities and colleges and Children's Union organizations at schools in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK are striving to prepare the younger generation to be excellent pillars of the future with ardent patriotism.

Universities and colleges have organized meetings with meritorious persons of socialist patriotism and young forerunners to encourage the youth league officials and students to follow their virtues and beautiful traits and do good things for national prosperity.

Through meetings to recite patriotic poems, disseminate patriotic songs and watch videos on patriotism, all the students are preparing themselves to be genuine revolutionary talents who know the preciousness of the country before science and technology.

The senior middle schools have purposefully conducted education through national symbols and directed primary efforts to instilling into the graduates the awareness that national defence is the sacred duty of a citizen.

The primary schools, too, are conducting education to help the pupils cherish the love for their native places, alma maters and friends. -0-
