Efforts to Develop New Products Made in Vehicle-building Industry

Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- The vehicle-building industry sector of the DPRK is concentrating efforts on the development of Korean-style vehicles.

The Rakwon General Machine Enterprise has made progress in the assembly of trial product of bulldozer by qualitatively processing and manufacturing various kinds of materials and accessories with high accuracy while maintaining and repairing important equipment necessary for the transmission gear production.

The Rakwon Oxygen Separator Factory has accelerated the production of custom-built equipment by increasing the assembly speed of products and the extraction rate with a new welding method and manufacturing and installing vibration-proof machine.

Workers and technicians of the Sunchon Engine Factory invented jigs and equipment necessary for establishing production processes to produce an engine with improved performance and less fuel consumption.

Workers of the Kumsong Tractor Factory are directing efforts to the production of practical and smart farm machines, whereas the Huichon Precision Machine Plant and the small farm machine production enterprise are putting spurs to the production of various kinds of products under contract. -0-
