Exhibition of Consumer Goods in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- A Pyongyang municipal exhibition of consumer goods began at the Pyongyang Department Store No. 1 on Tuesday.

Presented to it are more than 90 000 products of over 800 kinds, including condiments, cookie and household goods, with the attendance of 150-odd industrial establishments and consumer goods producers.

Through the exhibition, its participants will exchange successes and experience gained in developing new products and improving their quality.

Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, and other officials of the municipality went round the exhibition hall to discuss the measures for the growth of consumer goods both in quality and quantity. -0-
