New Treatment Method Using Ozone Established in Public Health Sector

Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, scientists in the field of public health of the DPRK established a Korean-style method of using ozone to treat lumbar slipped disk and introduced it into clinical practice.

They have manufactured a high-concentration ozone generator for public health that generates ozone-oxygen mixture gas needed to finish treatment in a minute by injecting medical oxygen.

In addition, a new method of periodic ozone injection with disposable syringe, instead of transfixion acupuncture being used for treatment of lumbar slipped disk using ozone, has been developed.

And the adhesion between the vertebral pulp and nerve root was separated to increase the treatment efficiency.

This treatment method, which does not require anesthesia, is popular in clinical practice for its high treatment efficiency of having no aftermath. -0-
