State Commendations Conferred on Creators and Artistes of National Symphony Orchestra
Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- A ceremony of awarding state commendations to meritorious creators and artistes of the National Symphony Orchestra took place on Saturday to mark its 80th founding anniversary.
After a relevant decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was read out, Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, conferred the state commendations.
Order of National Flag Second Class was conferred on instrumentalists Kim Song Ho, Ri Chol, Yun Chol Ho and Jong Hyon Hui, and Order of National Flag Third Class on a composer Kim Hak Il and instrumentalists Pae Ki Yong, Ri Kyong Gun, Ri Song Jin, Hwang Il Sok and Choe U Chol. -0-
