Rodong Sinmun Calls for Making Whole Society Overflow with Climate of Creation and Innovation

Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an editorial says that all the people across the country are making a vigorous stride of great efforts to thoroughly implement the tasks set forth at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.

In order to steadily raise the trend of the great changes in the orbit of leap forward, it is necessary to make the climate of creation and innovation more firmly prevail across the country as required by the times of the comprehensive development, the editorial says, and goes on:

The past five years in which the period of the comprehensive development of socialism had been ushered clearly proved how great changes are brought about by the spirit of fresh innovation, bold creation and steady progress.

In order to attain the new long-term goal by making continuous advance without satisfaction in the victories already gained, it is necessary to further intensify the spirit of new creation and innovation. To this end, our Party has set it as an important requirement of the times for the comprehensive development to break the outdated schema, frame, conservatism and empiricism and to make steady progress and innovations.

Now is the time to make all the sectors of state building, all the regions of the country and all the units of the national economy overflow with the spirit of creating new things and making innovations in the spirit and mettle displayed in pioneering a new trend of the comprehensive development of socialism.

There is a clear way to break the old schema and frame and create new ones in deeply grasping the essence of the Party's policies and correctly implementing them without an inch of deflection.
