Birthday Spread to Woman Centenarian

Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Han Chun Ok, a woman living in neighborhood unit No. 23, Sondok-ri, Jongphyong County of South Hamgyong Province, on her 100th birthday.

Receiving the birthday spread amid warm congratulations from officials of the Party and power organs in the county and villagers, the centenarian said in an excited tone that such glory is unthinkable apart from the benevolent social system, whereby working people are the masters of the country and selfless, devoted efforts are made for the good of the people.

She had been subjected to all sorts of maltreatment and contempt before national liberation. She could lead a genuine human life as a farmer only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

With a resolve to repay even a bit the benevolence of the country, she devoted her pure conscience and sincere efforts to the farming for decades and brought up her children to be robust ones responsible for national defence and socialist construction. -0-
