Myongchon Area Coal-mining Complex Increases Production
Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- The Myongchon Area Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK is recording more achievements with the same spirit as was displayed in implementing the first half-yearly national economic plan ahead of schedule.
While conducting information and motivation activities, the complex has given priority to prospecting and tunneling in order to create reserve coal beds. It has also striven to raise the proportion of the pit-face work done by machines.
Officials have intensified the policy-oriented and technical guidance, working together with coal miners at pit faces and taking steps to provide materials, equipment and accessories.
The coal miners have increased tunneling places according to the conditions of faces and deploying equipment in advance at worksites to turn out scores of more tons of coal every day than planned.
The complex has registered high production results every day by concentrating its workforce and means on prospecting and tunneling to create new coal beds and by employing innovative working methods.
While boosting the tunneling speed and coal output, it is transporting the coal in time.
The supplying unit, too, is injecting vitality into the implementation of all the plans by providing the coal wagons and small tools needed at worksites. -0-
