Visit to Cholryong Revolutionary Site

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in Kangwon Province of the DPRK have visited the Cholryong Revolutionary Site every day on the occasion of the historic day when Chairman Kim Jong Il started his leadership over the revolutionary armed forces.

At a meeting to hear the noble virtues of the Chairman held during the study tour, the performers praised the immortal revolutionary career of the peerlessly great man who regarded it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and made a ceaseless high-intensity forced march for the prosperity of the country and the improvement of the people's standard of living till the last moments of his great life.

After arriving at the top of Chol Pass, the visitors laid bouquets at the monument to the revolutionary activities of the Chairman there.

They were briefed by a lecturer on the fact that the Chairman firmly defended the destiny of the country and the people and the destiny of socialism while making ceaseless journeys for revolutionary guidance under the uplifted banner of Songun.

The visitors keenly realized once again that the Chairman crossed the pass 18 times and it was a sacred course that consolidated the country's military muscle into an invincible one capable of defeating any formidable enemy. -0-
