Women's Ice Hockey Match Marks 81st Founding Anniversary of WPK

Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- A women's ice hockey match between Taesongsan team and Pyongyang Railway Bureau team took place at the Ice Rink on October 9 to mark the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Among the spectators were Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK and premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials, leading officials of sports events sponsoring organizations, labor innovators, famous sportspersons, teachers and researchers of party-cadre training institutions and Pyongyang citizens.

That day the Taesongsan team beat its rival 3:1.

The match added to the festive mood of the people celebrating the founding anniversary. -0-
