Meetings of Working People's Organizations
Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Meetings with meritorious persons of socialist patriotism and winners of Model Worker Honor Prize were held respectively by working people's organizations on Monday to mark the 78th birthday of the DPRK.
Present at the meetings were officials of working people's organizations, youth and students, workers and trade union members and agricultural workers in Pyongyang.
Mun Kang Sun, workshop head of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, told about the benevolence bestowed by the peerlessly great men who put forward an ordinary weaver as a Labor Hero known to the whole country. She said that the embrace of respected Comrade
Choe Hyok Chol, a worker of the Pyongyang Disabled Soldiers' Educational Books Printing Plant, came to the platform with a pride of having introduced several technical innovation proposals and inventions into production. He expressed his firm determination to live in the same spirit as was displayed during the military service and to keep the flower of revolution in bloom.
The participants were deeply impressed to hear the story told by Pang Kum Sil, an official of the Cholsan County Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea. She expressed her strong will to live up to the great love of the Party which put her on the peak of glory and happiness as she has invariably devoted her sincerity to assisting the army for more than ten years while striving for the national prosperity and the grain production.
They were all full of ardent enthusiasm and will to fulfill their responsibility and duty, giving fuller play to their loyalty and patriotism in the sacred struggle to accelerate the great change and development of Korean-style socialism and usher in the era of comprehensive prosperity true to the leadership of the great Party Central Committee. -0-
