Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Saturday:

- The photo exhibitions "The area of Wihwa Island on the northwestern part of the country, which underwent a radical turn in the great era of Kim Jong Un" are going on in all provinces (municipalities) every day.

- Missions of international bodies here laid flower baskets at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

- Successes are being made in different units.

- A national exhibition of sci-tech achievements in the field of hydro-meteorology and marine science opened.
