Sangwon Cement Complex in DPRK Fulfills National Economic Plan for August

Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex in the DPRK are making successive offensive and uninterrupted progress in the vanguard of the all-people campaign to attain the new long-term goals set forth by the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Thanks to their patriotic devotion, the complex fulfilled its high production plan for August.

It boosted the practical effect and penetration of the ideological work through various information and motivation activities, and scrupulously organized and directed the work to increase the productivity.

Miners at the Sangwon Limestone Mine, by carrying out the checking of equipment in a responsible manner, ensured the full operation of down hole drills and crushing appliances and improved the transport capacity at drop pits.

The Samchong Mine implemented the August plan by using an efficient blasting method and conducting a collective innovation movement.

The cement shop developed and applied a new operation method for boosting the cement fineness to produce much more cement every day than planned. -0-
