Newspapers Mark 78th Birthday of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK Wednesday dedicate editorials to the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The papers say that from September 9, 1948, a new turn has been made in the destiny and position of the Korean people and the history of our Republic winning victory after victory has been recorded by the people out with ardent desire and pledge to outpace the whole world by dint of strong strength united with truth.

Our Republic is the genuine home of the people as it thoroughly orientates and subordinates all the state affairs to realizing the long-cherished desire of the people, Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says, and goes on:

The absolute popular spirit is the lifeblood of our state's policy. All policies reflect the aspiration, demand and desire of the people. This is the true picture of our state which no one can imitate.

Our people's happiness will grow day by day as there are the Party and the state which make a bold resolution without hesitation for the good of the people and undertake any huge task of their own accord.

Our Republic is the only world of people where their dreams and ideals are translated into brilliant reality.

It is the only country where the wishes of the people are regarded as the cherished desire of the Party and the state and all the policies adopted for the people are sure to be implemented in any difficulties. Herein lies the greatness of our state and the advantages and might of our social system.

For our Party and the state, the realization of the people's long-cherished desire is the most important affair to be placed first, irrespective of the conditions, and the most urgent task to be carried out in the shortest time without fail with great efforts. Steadfast is the determination of our Party and state to spare nothing for the people, devote all the wealth of the country to them, and bear good fruit by carrying any task out without delay even though there is no possibility.
