National Sci-tech Presentation and Seminar in AI Sector Held

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation and seminar in the AI sector took place at the Grand People's Study House here on September 15 and 16 under the sponsorship of the Korea AI Society of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present there were teachers, researchers and graduate students of over 20 units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang University of Education No. 1, Sinuiju Cha Kwang Su University of Education and the Mathematics Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences.

Presented to it on the theme of "Pioneering and operating the AI industry and research and development of core technology" were more than 90 papers conducive to putting the national economy on an intelligent and unmanned basis of higher level by actively creating and introducing advanced technology related to AI.

The seminar discussed the practical and reasonable proposals to settle the problems arising in putting the development of intelligent robot technology on a higher level.

During the period, there were lectures on the trend of the world's development of large-scale language modeling technology and cognitive science and technology. -0-
