Sanatorium for Disabled Soldiers Inaugurated in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- The Western Area Sanatorium for Honored Disabled Ex-soldiers has been wonderfully built in the DPRK.

The sanatorium covering a total floor space of 10 000 square meters is located in a scenic area of Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province. It has buildings of peculiar styles linked by outside corridors as well as various service conditions and environment for the convenience of disabled soldiers. The facilities include water treatment place, exercise treatment room, barbershop and cinema room.

A ceremony took place on September 15 to inaugurate the sanatorium.

Present there were Kim Tu Won, minister of Public Health, An Myong Jun, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, officials and employees of the sanatorium, builders and working people in Sinchon County.

Jin Kum Song, minister of Labor, made an inauguration speech.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the sanatorium. -0-
