Wonsan Kalma Cooking Festival-2026 Opens

Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The Wonsan Kalma Cooking Festival-2026 was opened with due ceremony at the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area on September 14, under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Korean Association of Cooks.

The festival on the theme of "Our taste and fragrance in Myongsasimni" brought together groups from public catering service sector, service sectors of ministries and national agencies, provincial (municipal) external service sector and catering sector, and service sector of the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area.

Attending the ceremony were officials concerned, cooks, waiters and waitresses of relevant sectors and fans.

During the festival, there will be a cooking exhibition, a service contest and a demonstration of good cooks and waiters and waitresses in various forms and methods. -0-
