DPRK Weightlifter Wins Gold Medals at 20th Asian Games

Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifter Pak Myong Jin bagged gold medals in the men's weightlifting of the 20th Asian Games.

On September 24 he lifted 146kg in snatch, 182kg in clean and jerk (a new record of the games) and 328kg in total (a new record of the games), thus finishing first in the men's 65kg category.

Meanwhile, DPRK weightlifter Pang Un Chol in the men's weightlifting 60kg category and woman player An Chang Ok in the women's vault of gymnastics won silver medals.

DPRK players came third respectively in women's team games of table tennis and gymnastics. -0-
